It all started with a lunch in the Summer of 1995. The legends of Pixar (Pete Doctor, Joe Ranft, John Lasseter, and Andrew Stanton) were wrapping up production on Toy Story and started pitching ideas for future films, on the off-chance their experimental computer animated movie about toys became a success story. During that lunch, beloved films like A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monster's Inc, and Finding Nemo got their start. Along with these four films was the story of a robot named WALL-E. WALL-E was the last robot on Earth, and the first thing to pop up in Andrew Stanton's mind as he was revising the script for Finding Nemo. While working on
